Since October 2014, it has been a requirement for all Letting Agents to be registered with a Property Redress Scheme. However, it will now become a requirement for all private landlords to also join a Property Redress Scheme.
A financial penalty of up to £5000 will apply to all agents and landlords failing to comply, therefore, it is vital for all private landlords to be at the forefront of all developments.
